Valve has disclosed that Baldur’s Gate 3 by Larian Studios has emerged as the most played game on Steam Deck over the past 12 months.
Between March 2023 and March 2024, Baldur’s Gate 3 garnered the highest daily active player count, followed by Vampire Survivors and Dave the Diver in second and third place, respectively.
The remaining top ten games included Hogwarts Legacy, Elden Ring, Palworld, Cyberpunk 2077, Grand Theft Auto 5, Stardew Valley, and Red Dead Redemption 2.
PC Gamer noted that most of these titles are single-player games, and even large cinematic titles typically enjoyed on larger screens, such as Elden Ring, Cyberpunk 2077, and Red Dead Redemption 2, are highly popular on the portable system.
Interestingly, Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA 5, and Palworld have yet to obtain their Steam Deck Verified status, indicating that games do not necessarily need to meet Valve’s strict requirements to attract a significant player base.
Valve commented on the chart, stating, “It’s been roughly two years since we launched Steam Deck, and we thought we’d take a look at the games being played on it the most in its second year!”
