Wrestling veteran Matt Morgan shared his thoughts on the potential fallout from Seth Rollins betraying Cody Rhodes at WWE WrestleMania XL and the explosive reaction it could elicit from fans.
Despite their past rivalry, The Visionary has been in Cody Rhodes’ corner as he takes on The Bloodline’s Roman Reigns and The Rock.
Recently, The Great One issued a challenge for a colossal tag team match on the first night of WrestleMania XL, where Cody faces Reigns the following night for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Morgan contemplated the scenario of Rollins losing his title at WrestleMania before turning on Rhodes and causing him to lose the title match.
Expressing his own stake in the matter, Morgan emphasized that if Cody didn’t win the title, he’d be the most vocal critic. However, he acknowledged the potential chaos if Rollins played the betrayal card, stating,
“Imagine if he’s the one that stabs him in the back though. Like, the fans will go bonkers. I mean, they will set that company on fire, literally.”
As Rollins gears up for the tag team match with Cody against The Rock and Roman Reigns on Night One of WrestleMania, he’s also set to defend his World Heavyweight Title against Drew McIntyre.
The Scottish Warrior earned his shot by triumphing in the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match, besting formidable opponents like Bobby Lashley, LA Knight, Kevin Owens, Logan Paul, and Randy Orton.

Adding another layer to the storyline, the recently-turned-heel Rollins has been targeting an injured CM Punk, with Morgan speculating that Punk might interfere in the World Heavyweight Title match at WrestleMania, potentially costing McIntyre his shot.
The looming question remains: Will Drew McIntyre seize the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL? The anticipation builds as the stage is set for these high-stakes clashes in the grandest spectacle of them all.
