World’s Edge and TiMi Studio Group have unveiled the initial details of Age of Empires Mobile, which is set to launch on iOS and Android platforms. Embracing the series’ hallmark gameplay elements like base construction and PvP engagements, the mobile adaptation promises a familiar yet tailored experience with optimized controls for touchscreen devices.
Though a precise release date for Age of Empires Mobile remains unspecified, the iOS listing tentatively marks its arrival on August 19, 2024. The game invites players to select from an array of historical figures, including iconic leaders like King Arthur, Joan of Arc, Julius Caesar, Leonidas I, and the Queen of Sheba.
Each leader boasts unique abilities, emphasizing the strategic importance of harnessing their strengths for both competitive and cooperative battles.
Brayden Fan, General Manager of TiMi Studio Group, articulated the team’s commitment to crafting an engaging mobile rendition of Age of Empires, drawing inspiration from the cherished PC classic.
