Neil Newbon, renowned for his versatile performances in various video game titles, has been enlisted into the cast of Fallout: London, an ambitious fan-made DLC-sized mod for Bethesda’s Fallout 4.
Having portrayed memorable characters like Karl Heisenberg in Resident Evil Village and Astarion in Baldur’s Gate 3, a role that earned him the prestigious Best Performance award at last year’s Game Awards, Newbon brings his wealth of experience to this new project.
While details regarding Newbon’s character in Fallout: London remain scarce, the mod’s developers have confirmed his involvement as part of the voice-acting ensemble, accompanied by an in-game screenshot showcasing his character (see below).
Although the specifics of Newbon’s role are shrouded in mystery, it’s evident that his portrayal in Fallout: London diverges significantly from the silver-maned vampire persona of Baldur’s Gate 3, fitting seamlessly into the gritty, post-apocalyptic landscape of London.
Joining Newbon in this venture is Anna Demetriou, known for her compelling performances as Sophia in A Plague Tale: Requiem and Dorys in Final Fantasy 16.
Daniel ‘Dansky’ Morrison Neil, the mod’s music and sound effects lead, emphasized the critical role of voice actors in shaping the immersive experience of Fallout: London. He underscored their contribution in weaving the narrative tapestry that awaits players, asserting that it’s the collective talent of the voice-acting team that will truly bring the mod’s story to life.
Despite encountering delays attributed to “global conflicts around the world,” Fallout: London is slated for release on April 23rd of this year, promising an expansive and enthralling addition to the Fallout universe.
