Daybreak has purchased Singularity 6, turning it into a fully owned subsidiary. Despite this change in ownership, Singularity 6 will continue to operate independently with its co-founders, Anthony Leung and Aidan Karabiach, at the helm. This acquisition is poised to strengthen Singularity 6’s ability to develop its debut game, Palia.
With the expanded resources from Daybreak, Singularity 6 plans to focus on key development milestones for Palia. These include bringing the game to its full 1.0 launch and expanding its availability across multiple gaming platforms. The aim is to ensure that Palia reaches a broader audience, enhancing its accessibility and appeal.
Anthony Leung emphasized the benefits of the partnership with Daybreak, highlighting their proven track record in building lasting gaming communities. He expressed confidence that this collaboration will enable Singularity 6 to better serve the gaming community and achieve its vision for Palia.
The partnership is seen as a strategic move to leverage Daybreak’s experience, expertise, and investment to support the game’s development and growth.
Daybreak, which is a subsidiary of Enad Global 7 since 2020, views Singularity 6 as a valuable addition to its portfolio of development studios. CEO Ham praised Singularity 6’s success in creating large-scale online games and noted that Palia is a strong fit for Daybreak’s collection of online titles. The acquisition aligns with Daybreak’s strategy to enhance its offerings and support the growth of its newly acquired subsidiary.
