The WWE’s decision to reintroduce the concept of General Managers has been a mixed bag, with some brands thriving under the guidance of their respective authorities. Nick Aldis, the General Manager of SmackDown, seems to have a tighter grip on his brand compared to Adam Pearce, the General Manager of RAW. The red brand has been plagued by chaos, both on recent episodes of RAW and at the 2024 King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event. As the top authority figure on RAW, Pearce needs to take drastic measures to restore order and tackle the issues that have been plaguing the brand.
One of the most pressing concerns is the controversy surrounding the King of the Ring Tournament finals, where Gunther beat Randy Orton to become the king. The question on everyone’s mind is whether the referee’s decision to count the pin despite Orton’s shoulder being up was a botch or an intentional move to protect The Viper. Pearce needs to address this situation by working out a deal with Nick Aldis to have Randy Orton and Gunther clash once more, ensuring that there are no disputed calls this time around.
Another area that requires Pearce’s immediate attention is the violent behavior of Bron Breakker. The Big Bad Booty Nephew has been on a rampage, brutalizing Kale Dixon during their match and sending him to the hospital, before going on to attack Ricochet and others backstage. Pearce needs to take a firm stance and suspend or fine Breakker to make him understand that his actions will not be tolerated.
Carlito, the former WWE United States Champion, has also been guilty of violent attacks, starting on SmackDown and continuing on RAW. Pearce needs to put an end to these attacks by having Carlito face the consequences of his actions, whether through suspension, fines, or a grudge match against Dragon Lee or Rey Mysterio.
Lastly, Pearce needs to look into Becky Lynch’s contractual claims of a guaranteed rematch clause after her loss to Liv Morgan at the 2024 King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event. If her contract does indeed stipulate a rematch, Pearce needs to book the match on RAW; otherwise, Lynch needs to go to the back of the line.
It’s high time for Adam Pearce to take control and restore order on RAW. By addressing these pressing issues, he can regain the trust of the WWE universe and prove himself as a capable General Manager. Will he finally step up and lay down the law on Monday Night RAW tonight? The world is waiting to see.
