In a surprise revelation, WWE Superstar Montez Ford of The Street Profits has disclosed that a memorable moment from the recent edition of Friday Night SmackDown was entirely unscripted. The moment in question occurred when Ford’s tag team partner Angelo Dawkins faced off against Tama Tonga in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament. During the match, Ford performed an incredible front flip onto Solo Sikoa and Tonga Loa as they attempted to interfere. The former Tag Team Champion capped off the impressive move with a flex, much to the delight of the audience.
Speaking on WWE’s The Bump, Ford confessed that the pose was indeed improvised, sparking a sense of spontaneity and unpredictability in the match. Ford attributed the unscripted moment to his desire to inject some excitement into the bout, showcasing his athleticism and creativity in the ring.
Although Dawkins ultimately lost to Tonga, Ford’s high-flying antics did not go unnoticed. Following the match, Solo Sikoa and Tonga Loa laid Ford out, paving the way for Tama Tonga to advance to the next round of the King of the Ring tournament. Sikoa then entered the ring and hit Dawkins with the Samoan Spike, solidifying The Bloodline’s dominance.
However, Ford has since issued a bold warning to The Bloodline, declaring that The Pride is ready to take on the heel faction head-on. Ford emphasized that The Street Profits are also part of the blue brand, making them direct rivals to The Bloodline.
The rivalry between The Street Profits and The Bloodline is expected to intensify in the coming weeks, with both factions vying for supremacy on SmackDown. As the King of the Ring tournament continues, fans are eagerly anticipating potential showdowns between these two powerful factions. One thing is certain – with Superstars like Montez Ford willing to push the boundaries and improvise, the outcome of these matches is far from predictable.
