On the latest episode of the Rebooked podcast, English argued that it wouldn’t be fair to push Styles out of the World Title picture after his impressive performance at Backlash. Styles came remarkably close to dethroning Cody, and the crowd’s reaction to his entrance and during the match was nothing short of phenomenal. English suggested that The Phenomenal One deserves another shot at the title, and what better way to do that than in a three-way match?
But that’s not all – English also threw LA Knight’s name into the mix. Knight and Styles are currently tied in singles competition, and a three-way match would provide the perfect opportunity to settle the score. The addition of Knight would bring a fresh dynamic to the match, and his rivalry with Styles would add an extra layer of complexity to the bout.
However, not everyone agrees that a three-way match is the way to go. On a recent episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast, Bully Ray suggested that Cody Rhodes’ next feud should be with Randy Orton. The two share a rich history, having been part of the same stable, Legacy, where Orton served as a mentor to Cody. A rivalry between the two would undoubtedly generate a lot of interest and could lead to some explosive matches.
