In a stunning turn of events, WWE star LA Knight’s impressive 46-match winning streak came to an abrupt end at the WWE Live event in Bologna, Italy.
The Megastar, who has been on a rapid ascent in the past year and a half, was defeated by The Bloodline duo of Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga in a thrilling match that left the European fans on the edge of their seats.
Knight, who has been a mainstay on WWE programming, had not lost an untelevised match since September 2023. During this period, he racked up an incredible 46 victories, many of which came against his arch-nemesis, Solo Sikoa.
However, it was Sikoa and Tonga who emerged victorious on Wednesday night, bringing an end to Knight’s unbeaten streak.
The match saw Knight team up with Randy Orton to take on Sikoa and Tonga, but despite their best efforts, they were unable to overcome the formidable duo. The Bloodline’s victory celebration was short-lived, however, as Randy Orton laid out Tama Tonga with an RKO while Knight delivered a BFT to Solo Sikoa.
This shocking loss raises questions about Knight’s future plans, particularly with Backlash France just around the corner. Former WWE star Aiden English believes that Knight could interfere in a major match at the event, potentially seeking revenge against AJ Styles for costing him a chance to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship earlier this year.
English suggested that Knight could return the favor and cross the ocean to disrupt Styles’ match against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Title. With Knight currently without a match at Backlash, it remains to be seen what role he will play in the upcoming event.
One thing is certain, however – LA Knight’s defeat at the hands of The Bloodline has sent shockwaves through the WWE universe, and fans will be eagerly waiting to see how he responds to this setback. Will he seek revenge against Sikoa and Tonga, or will he set his sights on a new target? Only time will tell.
