Responding to this, Stratton sent a tweet back, acknowledging the shout-out. Carmella last appeared in a WWE ring on March 12, 2023, at a house event, and is currently on a break following the birth of her child.
Praise from Dutch Mantell for Stratton’s Signature Move
Veteran wrestling commentator Dutch Mantell also commended Tiffany Stratton’s impressive execution of the double moonsault, dubbing it the Prettiest Moonsault Ever, during a recent SmackDown episode. This maneuver helped Stratton capitalize on Nia Jax’s interference during a match between Bayley and Naomi, leading to her victory.
On Wrestling’s Smack Talk, Mantell praised Stratton’s technique, saying,
“Then Tiffany Stratton, she hit that backflip, beautiful. I’m thinking, ‘Wait a minute, she’s laying them close together so that makes her knees go back out farther.’ And she did. She’s done that before. But she did it, [and] nobody got hurt. I thought that was a good spot.”
Looking ahead, Stratton is set to face Bayley and Naomi in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Women’s Championship at the upcoming Backlash Premium Live Event in France. This match marks Bayley’s second title defense since capturing the championship from IYO SKY at WrestleMania XL. Her first defense on SmackDown against Naomi was disrupted by Stratton, leading to a No Contest outcome.
