After The Elite’s attack on Tony Khan during AEW Dynamite, the crowd in Jacksonville started chanting for Trick Williams, the newly-crowned WWE NXT Champion.
The latest episode of Dynamite concluded with Jack Perry striking Khan with a microphone.
Following this, The Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada intervened to confront Perry, but then Matt and Nick Jackson delivered the Meltzer Driver to the AEW CEO.

As The Elite stood on the ramp, a section of the crowd began chanting “Whoop That Trick,” Trick Williams’ mantra.
These chants were audible in the background while the referee, Aubrey Edwards, tried to escort The Young Bucks and Okada backstage.
Trick Williams is currently one of the most popular WWE superstars, and his reign as NXT Champion has just begun. In a recent match at NXT Spring Breakin’ Week One, Williams emerged victorious over Ilja Dragunov after countering the Torpedo Moscow with the Trick Shot.
Expected to remain in NXT, Williams is anticipated to lead the brand into a new era. With the exception of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, all champions are protected from selection in the upcoming WWE Draft.
Following his title win, Trick Williams shared his thoughts with the WWE Universe backstage. Expressing his gratitude, he emphasized his determination to keep fighting for the championship and dedicated his victory to those who have supported him throughout his journey.
Despite the stipulation that would have seen him removed from NXT had he lost to Dragunov, Williams overcame the odds and secured the NXT Championship in front of a lively audience.
