Monday’s WWE RAW witnessed the dissolution of Imperium, with Gunther making a bold statement confirming the faction’s reduction in members.
Following his post-WrestleMania XL return, Gunther expressed gratitude to Sami Zayn for shifting his role from hunted to hunter. He asserted his intention to seize any WWE title he desires and secured his place in the upcoming King of the Ring tournament.

However, The New Day’s interruption and mockery disrupted his plans. The ensuing tag team match saw Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods triumph over Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser, much to Gunther’s dismay. In a fit of anger, Kaiser viciously attacked Vinci, effectively expelling him from Imperium.
Gunther took to X to announce The Next Level’s departure from Imperium, confirming the faction’s reduced size to a two-man team. He posted a clip of Vinci’s expulsion, labeling him as the weak link of the group.
“out with the weak link,” Gunther wrote in his tweet alongside the video.

The WWE has yet to announce the schedule for a potential Kaiser vs. Vinci showdown. However, historical records indicate that the two have faced off in five singles matches at live events between 2017 and 2018, with Kaiser emerging victorious in four encounters, and one ending in a double count-out.
Meanwhile, with the 2024 WWE Draft imminent, speculation runs high about potential picks. Former WWE Attitude Era head writer Vince Russo named Gunther as his top choice for this year’s draft, emphasizing the need for rebuilding around him.
Gunther and his Imperium partner, Ludwig Kaiser, are both eligible for selection on Monday’s RAW, while former faction member Giovanni Vinci is also part of the draft talent pool for the night.
