In “Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown,” players take on the role of Sargon, the young Immortal bodyguard, who is already equipped with an array of impressive skills.
Throughout the game, players can unlock additional, unique abilities that enhance gameplay. This guide to the time powers in “Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown” provides insight into the abilities that can be acquired as you progress, and includes spoilers for the game.
It’s important to note that basic traversal skills, like wall-jumping and dodging, are available from the start. This guide will focus on special skills unlocked in later stages of the game.
Rush of the Simurgh This ability, akin to an air dash move, is unlocked after defeating Jahandar in the “Lost in Mount Qaf” main quest. It enables Sargon to dash in different directions or cross gaps while in mid-air, enhancing mobility significantly.
Shadow of the Simurgh A unique ability that creates a duplicate of Sargon at the point of activation. By pressing the button again, Sargon teleports to the clone’s location. This skill is particularly useful for bypassing moving traps and obstacles and is obtained during the “Tiger and the Rat” quest while pursuing the Old Man in the Depths zone.
Dimensional Claw During “The Path to the Sands Prison” main quest, players acquire two time powers, the first being the Dimensional Claw. This power is granted after defeating Kiana in the Hyrcanian Forest and allows Sargon to pull objects or enemies into a pocket dimension and relocate them. It’s especially handy for moving explosive flora, known as Boomer Bulbs, to clear blocked paths.
Clairvoyance Also obtained in “The Path to the Sands Prison” quest, Clairvoyance enables players to solidify or dematerialize objects and platforms. It involves solving a brain teaser, further detailed in the Sacred Archives puzzle guide.
Gravity Wings After defeating the boss Azdaha in the “Darkest of Souls” mission, players acquire the Gravity Wings ability. This skill, essentially a double jump, is gained after summoning the nearest Celestial Guardian to the left of Azdaha’s arena and obtaining a Simurgh feather.
Fabric of Time The last time power in the game, the Fabric of Time, acts as a grappling hook. It enables Sargon to pull himself towards certain points or draw enemies closer. This ability, crucial for overcoming physical barriers, is awarded after defeating King Darius.
These time powers are integral to exploring Mount Qaf in “Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.” Each power opens new possibilities and areas within the game, enhancing the overall adventure experience.
