Zendaya and Tom Holland’s romantic journey traces back to at least 2021, yet the exact timeline preceding that remains somewhat elusive.
Their paths intertwined on the set of Spider-Man as co-stars, where early rumors hinted at the development of a deeper connection, although they remained tight-lipped about their personal lives.
The revelation of their relationship only surfaced when paparazzi snapshots captured them sharing a kiss at a traffic stop in Los Angeles.
While the couple is more forthcoming about their relationship now, they have seldom divulged concrete details about their origins as a couple. However, Zendaya may have inadvertently provided a clue during her appearance on the April 18 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
“Tom and I were rushing to a spin class—with my mother,”
she recounted.
“I was not going to do the spin class, he was going to do the spin class. Cause I don’t do that… But, we were going a little fast, we were running late.
And they recognized that he was Spider-Man and, uh, we were fine. We got our warning and everything was okay.”
Despite the scarcity of information, fans are adept at sleuthing. Shortly after the interview aired, a fan shared on X (formerly Twitter),
“the spin class in question help. THEY WERE BABIES.”
Accompanying the post was a video reportedly from 2016, capturing Holland exiting a spin class with Zendaya’s mother, Claire Stoermer. In the video, Zendaya queries Holland, “How’d you do?” to which he retorts, “Shut up.”
This suggests that the couple might have commenced their journey in 2016, or at the very least, shared intimate moments from that period onwards.
However, in 2020, Zendaya was purportedly linked with her Euphoria co-star Jacob Elordi, while Holland’s romantic associations included Nadia Parkes and Olivia Bolton during the same year. It’s plausible that they either took a hiatus or formalized their relationship at a later stage.
