Tonight’s NXT Level Up is gearing up for the on-screen return of 25-year-old WWE star Kale Dixon, marking his second match in over nine months.
Dixon’s last on-screen appearance was on July 11, 2023, when he teamed up with Luca Crusifino, resulting in a loss against Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen. Following this, Dixon took a hiatus from in-ring action.
In 2024, Dixon competed in three non-televised matches in February and March. However, his televised comeback wasn’t favorable, facing defeat against Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo on the February 27 episode of NXT Level Up.

Before this week’s WWE NXT, Dixon participated in only his second on-screen match in nine months on April 16, facing off against Riley Osborne. The NXT Level Up episode taped on Tuesday is set to air tonight.
Comparisons to WWE Legends: Kale Dixon’s Potential
In a recent interview, Robert Stone, currently managing Von Wagner, expressed his interest in managing Dixon, drawing parallels between the young star and WWE legend Randy Orton.

Stone emphasized Dixon’s potential, likening his demeanor and style to a young Randy Orton. He remarked, “I think he has so much potential…almost like a young Randy Orton…such a bright future ahead of him.” Stone expressed his desire to collaborate with Dixon in the future.
Considering Dixon’s limited televised and non-televised match history, his win/loss record should not be a cause for concern. Fans eagerly anticipate how WWE will utilize this emerging talent moving forward.
