In an exciting announcement on April 12, HoYoverse declared the upcoming release of Genshin Impact Version 4.6, dubbed “Two Worlds Aflame, the Crimson Night Fades,” scheduled to launch on April 24. This highly anticipated update brings Arlecchino into the fold as both a playable character and a Weekly Boss, while also introducing a exciting new underwater region waiting to be discovered.
Arlecchino, renowned as the “Knave,” is the fourth Fatui Harbinger making her mark in Genshin Impact. As a 5-star Pyro polearm wielder, she brings a unique combat style to the game. Her abilities center around the innovative “Bond of Life” mechanic, which initially restricts healing but, in Arlecchino’s hands, becomes a powerful tool to enhance her offensive capabilities.

During combat, Arlecchino triggers a unique mechanic called the “Bond of Life,” which manifests as a bar above her health. This bond boosts her Normal Attacks and deals unavoidable Pyro damage when consumed. To maintain this bond, she employs Blood-Debt Directives on her enemies, ensuring a steady supply. Furthermore, her Elemental Burst serves as her only means of healing while engaged in battle.
However, when appearing as a Weekly Boss, Arlecchino alters the dynamic by imposing a Blood-Debt Directive on challengers. Those targeted experience heightened damage from her attacks and are unable to heal. Repaying this debt, however, rewards them with a bonus for charged attacks.
Arlecchino makes her debut in the first part of the Version 4.6 Event Wishes alongside Lyney’s return. Players can probe deeper into her story through the “Ignis Purgatorius” Story Quest. The latter part of the event features reruns of Wanderer and Baizhu. Additionally, Arlecchino’s distinctive weapon, the 5-star polearm Crimson Moon’s Semblance, becomes available in the initial stage of Version 4.6.
