Robert Kirkman, the mastermind behind the creation of Invincible, has brought to life a compelling animated series now streaming on Prime Video.
In the gripping second season, viewers were immersed in a world sans Omni-Man, witnessing Mark Grayson’s journey as he fully embraces his superhero persona.
In a recent interview highlighted by GamesRadar, Kirkman, renowned for his work on The Walking Dead and titles like Ultimate X-Men, shared his enthusiasm for what lies ahead in Season 3.
Speaking on the bonus segment “Inside Episode 8” from Invincible Season 2 on Amazon’s platform, Kirkman expressed,
“I could not be more excited for Season 3. I’m all about Season 3.”
Additionally, an announcement on the official Invincible account, formerly known as X on Twitter, confirmed the return of Battle Beast and Titan for the upcoming season.

Titan, portrayed by the talented Mahershala Ali, known for his ties to the developing Blade project, made his debut in Season 1 as a formidable villain boasting superhuman strength and the ability to toughen his skin like rock.
Despite his villainous origins, Titan eventually allied with Invincible to defeat the nefarious Machine Head. However, his subsequent takeover of the criminal empire hints at his return as a more formidable foe.
Another formidable adversary from Invincible’s debut season is Battle Beast, voiced by Michael Dom, renowned for his portrayal of Worf in Star Trek.
Battle Beast, an intergalactic warrior hired by Machine Head, posed a significant threat to Invincible and the Guardians of the Globe. His return promises to test Mark’s newfound powers and growth since their last encounter.
Kirkman teased that Season 3 of Invincible will expand upon the intricate web of characters and plotlines introduced in the second season.
“I think that there’s so many pieces that have been put in place in season two that we’re going to build on in season three and so many different ways that we’re going to expand the show and push the show even further,” Kirkman elaborated.
Simon Racioppa, co-showrunner alongside Kirkman, echoed this sentiment, promising fans an exciting journey ahead. “You’ve got some new cast members, new stories.
We go [to] some crazy places. But we pick up everything that we left hanging in season two. All the emotional stories that you liked in season one and season two are continuing.”
Despite the wait between the first and second seasons, Kirkman anticipates a quicker turnaround for Season 3, given that Prime Video greenlit both Seasons 2 and 3 simultaneously in 2021.
For fans eager to go back into the world of Invincible, the series is currently available for streaming on Prime Video.
