Mick Foley, a beloved WWE Hall of Famer renowned for his daring career, continues to charm fans even in retirement through various conventions and appearances.
However, the wrestling icon recently shared concerning news regarding his health.
Inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013, Foley remains active with occasional appearances for the company, including a stint as General Manager of WWE RAW.
His most recent appearance was on November 7, 2023, on NXT, where he announced participants for the Iron Survivor Challenge qualifiers at NXT Deadline.
Unfortunately, Foley took to his Instagram stories to announce the cancellation of his appearance at the Squared Circle convention in Indianapolis due to health issues.
He expressed regret over experiencing dizziness and acknowledged the need to curtail his travel commitments until his symptoms subside, also citing exhaustion from excessive driving and booking engagements throughout March.
“I’ve been working through some dizziness the last couple of weeks – and my family and I feel like it would be best to cut back on my traveling until my symptoms are gone. I also will be unable to make my return to OVW Thursday as I had originally hoped. I think I may have just done way too much driving – 40 hours in 5 days – not enough sleeping, and just taken on too many bookings in the month of March,”
Foley explained.
Despite his health setbacks, Foley remains dedicated to his weight loss journey in preparation for a potential “final” match. As WrestleMania 40 approaches, fans speculate on his possible appearance, given his history of surprise cameos alongside other legends.
However, uncertainties loom regarding Foley’s health and whether he’ll be able to fulfill any potential bookings for the event.
