Former WWE Superstar Mandy Rose recently delved into her initial stint in NXT, shedding light on her trajectory within the company.
Rose, known as God’s Greatest Creation, entered WWE after her participation in the 2015 Tough Enough competition.
Despite spending two years in NXT developmental, she didn’t receive regular exposure on the brand. Instead, she made her mark on the main roster in 2017.
In an interview with For The Love of Wrestling, the 33-year-old discussed her early WWE days.
She revealed that during her time in NXT, under the guidance of Triple H, there was a sentiment that she was being held back for Vince McMahon’s scrutiny.
Rose expressed gratitude for the experience but suggested that more exposure in NXT could have been beneficial for her development.
Reflecting on her journey, Rose shared,
“They didn’t really put me out there as much… I think they should have put me out there a little bit cuz you kinda have to get those reps and that, just, you know, the experience in.”
Despite these challenges, she remains thankful for her WWE journey, acknowledging that every step contributed to her growth.
Following her transition to the main roster in 2017, Rose became a prominent figure on Monday Night RAW and SmackDown, engaging in notable storylines, including controversial angles with Jimmy Uso and Otis.
Rose’s return to NXT in 2021 marked a new chapter as she formed Toxic Attraction and captured the NXT Women’s Championship, holding it for over 400 days.
However, her WWE tenure came to an abrupt end in 2022 due to content posted on her exclusive website.
As Rose navigates her post-WWE endeavors, fans speculate about a potential return to the wrestling scene.
