On the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, Jimmy Uso accepted Jey Uso’s challenge, setting the stage for an intense ‘brother vs. brother’ showdown at WrestleMania 40.
With Jimmy backed by Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline, Jey finds himself without any allies. However, speculation is rife that their father, four-time champion Rikishi, could make a long-awaited return to the company to intervene in the family feud.
Rikishi, who hasn’t been seen on WWE television since The Undertaker’s retirement ceremony at Survivor Series 2020, holds the key to resolving the conflict between his two sons. As tensions escalate, his presence becomes increasingly crucial.
In typical Bloodline fashion, fans can expect Solo Sikoa to interfere in the ‘brother vs. brother’ match at WrestleMania 40. Rikishi’s return could help even the odds and ensure a fair contest between Jimmy and Jey.
His intervention would be essential in neutralizing the numerical advantage and aiding Jey in securing a significant victory on the grand stage.
Recently, Rikishi shared his perspective on the anticipated showdown during an episode of the Rikishi Fatu Off The Top podcast. Expressing his support for Jey, Rikishi emphasized the business aspect of the match and highlighted Jey’s impressive singles career momentum.
“Jey is having a hell of a year as a single. Jimmy’s the same as far as being involved in the group with The Bloodline and so, to see the steam that Jey is having as a singles career, it only makes sense from a business standpoint.
If I was on the board of TKO or WWE, we’d have to go with YEET. I would feel that would be the best business move, to be able to let Jey get the upper hand for WrestleMania against his brother,” Rikishi commented.
With Rikishi firmly supporting Jey over Jimmy, all eyes are on how the latter will react to his father’s stance. As tensions within The Bloodline continue to mount, Rikishi’s return promises to add another layer of drama to the already heated rivalry between the two brothers.
