WWE has unveiled its latest Hall of Fame inductees ahead of WrestleMania XL, with Paul Heyman, Bull Nakano, and US Express making the prestigious list. Now, fans are rallying for another iconic duo to join the ranks – Ax, Smash, and Crush of Demolition fame.
During the late 1980s and early 1990s, Demolition carved out a remarkable legacy in WWE (then WWF), clinching the World Tag Team Championships three times.
Their dominance included a reign lasting an impressive 478 days. The addition of Crush in 1990 only bolstered their formidable presence.

Despite their undeniable impact, the absence of any Demolition member from the WWE Hall of Fame has puzzled many, possibly due to legal matters stemming from a class action lawsuit against the promotion.
Following the recent Hall of Fame announcements, fervent calls for Demolition’s induction flooded social media platforms like Twitter.
In response to the buzz surrounding his own induction, Paul Heyman, the first announced inductee of the 2024 Hall of Fame class, expressed his eagerness to continue contributing to the industry.
Many have been wanting to see Demolition go into the #WWE Hall of Fame including myself. This year would be perfect as their 2 out of 3 falls match against Hart Foundation took place in Philadelphia. It was one of my favorite childhood matches. @TripleH pic.twitter.com/6dRQQLecvp

Speaking to the New York Post, Heyman emphasized his ongoing commitment to the wrestling world:
“It’s taken me all these decades to figure this business out and the art of presentation to an audience, so while I hate to use the old cliche of, ‘You ain’t seen nothing yet, and I’m just getting started’… You ain’t seen nothing yet, and I’m just getting started. I don’t want a lifetime achievement award when I’m not done achieving things. I still have a lot of other work I want to do in this industry. I want to be involved in the first main event of WrestleMania in Havana, or on the moon, or on Mars when Elon Musk colonizes it. These are things that are going to happen in the future, and I desperately want to be a part of it,” he said. [H/T: New York Post]
As the anticipation builds for the Hall of Fame ceremony in Philadelphia, the same city that once hosted ECW, speculation mounts over who will have the honor of inducting the enigmatic Wiseman, Paul Heyman.
