WWE RAW Superstar Maxxine Durpi has expressed interest in facing off against a member of the Latino World Order (LWO) in the ring. The LWO comprises iconic names like Rey Mysterio, Carlito, Joaquin Wilde, Cruz Del Toro, and Zelina Vega.
Durpi, a member of the Alpha Academy, garnered attention recently after facing some heat from the crowd at a live event. However, the wrestling community rallied behind her in support.
While the Alpha Academy operates on RAW and the LWO faction resides on SmackDown, Durpi revealed her desire to wrestle Zelina Vega during an interview on the Lightweights Podcast.
Despite having only 12 WWE matches since July 2023, Durpi believes she could learn a lot from Vega and is even open to a mixed-match challenge.
“I love the opportunity to do a mixed tag, like I love when I get to wrestle with the boys and we get to face a mixed tag. So I think it would be fun to work with Zelina because she’s so talented, and I think that I could learn a lot from her as well. And she’s got the boys, so we could do a fun mixed tag,”
Durpi expressed during the podcast.
Meanwhile, in recent WWE SmackDown news, Rey Mysterio made a sensational return to the ring during a match between Escobar and Carlito.
The legendary Mysterio surprised everyone by revealing that he was not injured and assisted Carlito in securing victory over Santos Escobar. Following the match, Zelina Vega took to Instagram to celebrate Mysterio’s return and announce the reunion of the LWO faction.
With both RAW’s Alpha Academy and SmackDown’s LWO making waves, fans are eager to see if WWE will book them in a mixed-match challenge in the near future.
