Logan Paul’s venture into the WWE arena has garnered praise from both fans and critics, particularly under the leadership of Triple H.
Amidst this, a seasoned champion recently shared his thoughts on Paul’s stint with the promotion, expressing a desire to witness Dillon Danis transition into the world of professional wrestling.
Following his departure from WWE in September 2023 post the UFC merger, Matt Riddle has found success in the independent circuit and NJPW.
During an interview with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, Riddle commended Logan Paul’s tenure as the United States Champion and extended appreciation towards Jake Paul’s endeavors.
Additionally, he expressed interest in seeing Dillon Danis venture into professional wrestling.
“Very, very. I’m impressed with both the Paul brothers. Jake’s knocking people out in boxing. Logan did beat Dillon Danis. I like Dillion; I like all of them. I like Logan in pro wrestling, but that’s what I’m saying: I wouldn’t mind seeing Dillon Danis on a pro wrestling show running his mouth and talking trash because people just want to see him get punched in the face, right? Or some people want to see him break somebody’s arm, you know,” Riddle remarked.
The rivalry between Paul and Danis transcended beyond the boxing ring, with Paul securing a victory over Danis via disqualification in a boxing match held in October 2023.
Recently, Logan Paul’s aspirations to challenge WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins at WrestleMania XL were evident as he entered the Elimination Chamber.
Although he fell short in the match, he ensured his presence at WrestleMania by blindsiding Randy Orton. Following the altercation, Paul sent a pointed message to Orton in anticipation of their potential showdown in Philadelphia.
“Well, well, well, would you look at that? Mr. RKO got KO’d, sucks to suck, that’s what happens when you play with the best. I walked in that chamber a champ, I left a champ. We’ll see what happens next, WrestleMania, here we come,” Paul remarked.
Riddle and Orton had previously shared the spotlight as two-time WWE RAW Tag Team Champions before Riddle’s departure from the company in September 2023.
