A WWE Superstar, weighing in at a formidable 304 lbs, recently opted for a more laid-back appearance, shedding the face paint and flamboyant costumes that usually define his on-screen persona. The surprising transformation left many struggling to recognize him out of character.
This notable change belongs to Ivar, one-half of The Viking Raiders tag team. Known for his championship reigns alongside his partner Erik in NXT and RAW, Ivar has stepped into the spotlight solo following Erik’s absence due to injury, delivering impressive performances in singles competitions.
During this week’s Monday Night RAW, the 304-pound powerhouse faced LA Knight in a high-stakes Elimination Chamber Qualifying match. Despite a fierce showdown, Knight emerged victorious, earning his spot in the traditional six-man steel chamber match in Perth, Australia.
Taking a break from his on-screen persona, Ivar took to Instagram to share a glimpse of his off-screen adventures, capturing a memorable moment with penguins. His appearance sans character surprised many of his followers, showcasing a more relaxed side of the typically intense wrestler.

In a recent social media exchange, Ivar playfully taunted Logan Paul, the current United States Champion, following Paul’s attempt to surpass Montez Ford’s impressive jump record at the WWE Performance Center. Despite Paul’s valiant efforts, Ford’s record of 11 feet 2 inches remained untouched.
“I’ve just been looking at this NXT Leaderboard… Montez Ford, 11 foot 2 inch broad jump. I’ll beat it right now. 11 yards! My man flew… I don’t know if I’m gonna get it right now, but I’ll get 9 [feet] right now. [jumps] D**n, that m**********r can jump! [jumps] That’s like 10.5… f**k! [jumps and lands on the same spot] Ahhh! F**k!” Paul exclaimed.
In response, Ivar offered a tongue-in-cheek three-word message to Paul’s tweet: “Keep trying kid,” he wrote.
Amidst fan speculation about his future endeavors, many enthusiasts are eager to see if The Viking Raiders member will pursue the Intercontinental Championship currently held by Gunther. As the year progresses, wrestling fans will be keenly watching to see if the 304-pound powerhouse secures a singles title for himself.
