As the countdown to WrestleMania 40 intensifies, WWE powerhouse Drew McIntyre finds himself at the epicenter of a high-stakes showdown for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins on Night Two of the event.
Renowned for his tenacity and skill, McIntyre has ascended to the upper echelons of WWE, carving out a formidable reputation as one of the promotion’s premier heels, while Rollins assumes the role of the valiant protagonist in their impending clash.
Despite the adulation from fans and pundits alike, McIntyre balks at being labeled a heel and expresses frustration when fans categorize him as such, despite their admiration for his contributions to the sport.
Drew McIntyre gets offended when fans refer to him as a "heel" as he feels he is a "good guy".

Reflecting on his stance during an interview on the Gorilla Position podcast, McIntyre elaborated on his perspective:
“I’m the only guy that’s been a consistent good guy since like 2019. I’ve never changed. I’m willing to go a little bit further now…everything’s come together with what I am, and who I am now with that killer instinct.”
Amidst the WWE landscape, McIntyre and Roman Reigns stand as the preeminent antagonists, exciting audiences with their compelling performances following their respective heel turns.
Given McIntyre’s exceptional portrayal as a villain, it appears unlikely that the Scottish Warrior will deviate from this trajectory any time soon.
Regardless of the outcome of his impending clash with Rollins, indications suggest that McIntyre will continue to embrace his heel persona, with rumors swirling of a potential matchup against the enigmatic CM Punk once the latter recuperates from his current injury woes.
In the lead-up to WrestleMania 40, McIntyre did not hold back in his assessment of Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes, delivering scathing remarks about his adversaries.
On the Gorilla Position podcast, McIntyre branded Rhodes a ‘liar’ and criticized Rollins for what he perceived as self-serving behavior, admonishing him to prioritize the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match over personal vendettas.
As tensions escalate on the Road to WrestleMania, anticipation mounts for the showdown between McIntyre, Rollins, Rhodes, and Reigns, promising an electrifying spectacle that will undoubtedly shape the future landscape of WWE.
