WWE continues to honor its legends and Hall of Famers long after they retire from active competition. With WrestleMania season upon us, the promotion has just unveiled a limited release of championship replicas, paying tribute to some of the most iconic names in wrestling history.
Among these legends are The Dudley Boyz, a tag team renowned for their dominance in the ring.
Originally making their mark in ECW before capturing titles across WWE, NJPW, TNA, and various indie promotions, Bubba Ray Dudley (Bully Ray) and D-Von Dudley (Brother Devon) have left an indelible legacy.
Inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018 and recently signing new legends contracts, The Dudley Boyz are once again in the spotlight with the release of the latest Signature Series championship replicas.
Available on WWE Shop for $499.99 with free shipping, these limited edition replicas pay homage to the throwback Tag Team Championship.
Featuring Dudley Boyz printed graphics on the polyurethane belt’s back and their signature red camouflage, the zinc alloy center and side plates maintain the standard of excellence.
Weighing just over five pounds and fitting waist sizes up to 46 inches, the replica comes complete with a cloth carrying bag. The strap, equipped with snap fasteners, measures 52 inches x 9.7 inches x 0.2 inches.
In addition to their accomplishments in the ring, D-Von Dudley’s contributions to the wrestling world extend beyond his tag team success.
Reflecting on his time as a WWE Producer and his various roles in different promotions, D-Von recently shared insights into his partnership with WWE legend Batista.
Recalling Batista’s early days in the business, D-Von highlighted the learning curve The Animal faced due to his limited experience. Despite this, their alliance as Deacon Batista and Brother Devon on SmackDown delivered memorable moments before their eventual split in 2002.
As WWE celebrates the legacies of icons like The Dudley Boyz, their influence on the sport continues to resonate, leaving an enduring impact on wrestling fans worldwide.
