WWE superstar Naomi commemorated a significant milestone with a heartfelt message for her real-life Bloodline member, Jimmy Uso. The update offered an intimate glimpse into their lives away from the cameras.
Naomi and Jimmy Uso’s relationship blossomed early in their WWE careers, initially crossing paths in the FCW developmental territory before transitioning to the main roster. The couple exchanged vows on January 16, 2014.
Celebrating their recent 10th wedding anniversary and the Valentine’s Day festivities, Naomi shared candid snapshots and videos of their time together on Instagram. Among the highlights were moments captured at the NFL’s Super Bowl 58, where they joined other wrestling luminaries.
The pair showed their support for the San Francisco 49ers, albeit witnessing their team’s defeat by the Kansas City Chiefs. Naomi’s Instagram post was captioned with lyrics from Usher’s “My Boo,” a nod to the Super Bowl Halftime Show performance by Alicia Keys.
“‘It started when we were younger, you were mine (My boo)’ 🎵 ❤️,” she wrote.
Naomi’s return to WWE at Royal Rumble 2024 has positioned her on the SmackDown roster, with anticipation building for her scheduled match against Alba Fyre in a Women’s Elimination Chamber qualifier.
A change in the originally announced opponent for Naomi came as WWE addressed an injury concern. Initially, two Women’s Elimination Chamber qualifying matches were set for the upcoming SmackDown, with Naomi slated to face Zelina Vega. However, due to an injury, Alba Fyre was announced as Naomi’s new opponent, while Tiffany Stratton replaced Zelina Vega in a match against Shotzi.
Shotzi’s absence from the original lineup was attributed to a reported knee injury sustained during a match against NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria at a recent TV taping, with the match expected to air next Tuesday night.
