Recently, a remarkable body transformation caught the attention of wrestling enthusiasts on social media, courtesy of WWE official Jessika Carr, aged 32, who has been an integral part of the Stamford-based company since 2017.
Notably, Carr holds the distinction of being the wrestling promotion’s first full-time female referee, officiating in prestigious events like The Showcase of the Immortals.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Carr shared two images of herself taken two years apart, reflecting on her journey of physical transformation during this period. Expressing her appreciation for both pictures, Carr captioned the post with a message of self-love and growth:
“2 years between. Both photos I loved and love what I see. Always growing💙💪🏻.”
Carr’s dedication to fitness has been evident through her diligent efforts in the gym, occasionally documented on her social media platforms, X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, where she showcases her progress.
WWE Referee Jessika Carr Makes History with Edge’s Support
Notably, Carr etched her name in the annals of WWE history during the Crown Jewel 2021 Premium Live Event, where she officiated the historic Hell in a Cell match between Seth Rollins and Edge. This marked the first instance of a woman officiating a bout in Saudi Arabia, a milestone achievement for Carr.
In an interview with D-Von Dudley on his Table Talk podcast, Carr disclosed how Edge, formerly known as Adam Copeland, played a pivotal role in advocating for her inclusion in the Crown Jewel event.
Impressed by her performance during his SummerSlam match against Seth Rollins, Edge approached Vince McMahon to request Carr’s presence at Crown Jewel.
“Edge was all about giving me an opportunity to learn, to be in the ring with someone that has gone through all the things he has in his career… I stepped up to the plate, obviously, of doing all the things and got a lot of kudos from that and that was amazing,” Carr recounted.
Carr’s impactful contributions extend beyond history-making moments, as evidenced by her commendable actions during the Six-Pack Ladder Match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania XL.
Wrestling fans lauded Carr for her assertiveness, particularly when attempting to intervene as Damien Priest disregarded her directives during the match’s climax.
