Rhea Ripley’s villainous streak began when she joined forces with The Judgment Day, and her impressive performances in the ring have caught the attention of WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.
Stratus, a former seven-time WWE Women’s Champion, didn’t have a chance to face Ripley during her return to the company last year, but she’s been following Ripley’s journey closely.
Ripley made a mark by snatching the Women’s World Champion (formerly the SmackDown Women’s Champion) title from Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39.
Since then, the 27-year-old has defended her title against formidable opponents like Nia Jax, Natalya, Zelina Vega, Ivy Nile, and more.
Impressed by Ripley’s rise, wrestling legend Trish Stratus shared her admiration during an interview with Brioux TV, saying:
“Right now, I’m really loving Rhea Ripley. She’s in a whole other league. She brings so much and people love to hate her. When you’re a bad guy, but the crowd is loving you so much that they want to cheer you, that’s a special thing that you have that je ne sais quoi. She definitely has that. She’s worked really hard to be where she is right now and she’s on a great journey. Her trajectory has been really fun to watch and I was able to see it firsthand.” (H/T: Fightful)
Meanwhile, Ripley took a playful jab at a fellow WWE star with a one-word message on social media.

Ripley and Liv Morgan, once known as Liv 4 Brutality, were tag team partners, but after failing to secure the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, Ripley turned her back on Morgan and joined forces with Edge in The Judgment Day.
Looking ahead, Ripley is gearing up to defend her Women’s World Championship against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40. Wrestling fans are eagerly anticipating whether Lynch will defeat Ripley to claim the coveted title.
