WWE has a legacy of producing formidable villains in pro wrestling, and now they’ve set their sights on labeling another top star as a menace.
Drew McIntyre, known as The Scottish Psychopath, has undergone a significant character shift from beloved hero to menacing heel on the Road to WrestleMania 40. His recent match on RAW against Jey Uso showcased his dominance, with McIntyre defeating Uso in just under 17 minutes.
WWE’s Instagram post captured McIntyre’s ruthless persona perfectly, describing him as
“@dmcintyrewwe is a menace [face with steam from nose emoji].”
Even the official USA Network social media team couldn’t resist acknowledging McIntyre’s transformation, commenting, “Drew’s been pushing the wrong buttons for months… And we’re kind of liking it.”
McIntyre’s dominance over Uso extends back to last fall when he handed Uso his first defeat upon arriving on RAW for his singles run. Since then, McIntyre has bested Uso in all five of their televised singles matches, showcasing his relentless pursuit of dominance.
As the Road to WrestleMania 40 progresses, tonight’s RAW from Houston, Texas promises to finalize plans for the monumental event.
WWE will determine Gunther’s opponent for WrestleMania, with a Gauntlet match featuring Ricochet, JD McDonagh, Chad Gable, Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Bronson Reed competing for the Intercontinental Championship opportunity.
Additionally, rumors suggest Jey Uso’s WrestleMania match will be confirmed soon, possibly involving his brother Jimmy Uso or intertwining with The Bloodline’s storyline.
Tonight’s RAW lineup includes matches such as Liv Morgan vs. Becky Lynch and The Kabuki Warriors defending the World Tag Team Championship against Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler, ensuring an action-packed episode.
