Another exciting SmackDown unfolded on the Road to WrestleMania, with Roman Reigns, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, taking center stage.
The return of The Rock has certainly drawn attention, but has it overshadowed Reigns? According to veteran manager Dutch Mantell, not quite!
The storyline surrounding The Bloodline has shifted gears since The Rock joined, seemingly positioning him as the dominant figure in the faction.
While The Rock was absent this week, Reigns and Cody Rhodes continued to build their respective matches for WrestleMania.
Reigns’ prominence has appeared to diminish in recent weeks, prompting questions about whether WWE unintentionally weakened one of its top villains.
Speaking on Smack Talk, Mantell argued that Reigns hasn’t been buried but acknowledged that The Rock’s larger-than-life presence has cast a shadow over him.
“Yeah, overshadow, I won’t say being buried! But when you bring in The Rock, he is going to overshadow everybody; I don’t care who they are!”
Mantell explained.
As Reigns and Rhodes gear up for their WrestleMania rematch, many anticipate Rhodes to potentially dethrone the reigning champion this time around.
However, The Rock’s involvement has significantly shaped the narrative, and given his penchant for surprises, fans should brace themselves for some major twists.
