WWE’s R-Truth made waves recently by aiding a top contender in defeating none other than John Cena’s past WrestleMania rival at The Road to WrestleMania Supershow in Fresco, CA. The beneficiary of Truth’s assistance was none other than LWO’s Carlito.
Since his comeback to World Wrestling Entertainment during the 2023 Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event, Truth has been vying to align himself with The Judgment Day.
Despite his efforts to assist the formidable faction in securing victories, he has yet to be fully embraced by its members.
However, during the latest live event in Fresco, CA, the 52-year-old seized an opportunity to distract Austin Theory, John Cena’s aforementioned WrestleMania opponent.
Theory’s post-WrestleMania journey hasn’t been smooth sailing; he lost his US Championship and has seen a decline in his prominence on WWE SmackDown.

A fan captured the moment on video, sharing it on Twitter, showcasing Truth’s humorous attempt to tag in during a singles match between Carlito and Theory. Upon being tagged in by the LWO member, Truth’s distraction ultimately led to Theory’s defeat by pinfall.
In a recent interview on SonyLiv’s WWE Super Dhamaal, WWE Superstar Damian Priest shed light on R-Truth’s role within The Judgment Day. He clarified that while Truth isn’t officially a member, he functions more like a mascot for the faction, operating under the “organization.”
“R-Truth is not part of The Judgment Day. It’s akin to saying he’s the mascot of a sports team. He’s not on the team; he’s just around, working for the organization,” Priest explained.
Speculation among fans is rife that Truth might eventually turn heel and assume leadership of The Judgment Day. As for the future plans of the 52-year-old WWE star, it’s a waiting game to see what direction the Stamford-based promotion will take him in.
