Drew McIntyre, a prominent WWE villain, has vowed to dominate CM Punk if they ever meet in the ring.
Their feud intensified at the 2024 Royal Rumble when McIntyre delivered a punishing Future Shock DDT to Punk, injuring his tricep.
Despite the setback, Punk managed to eliminate McIntyre from the Rumble.
On a recent episode of Monday Night RAW, McIntyre targeted Punk’s injury, setting the stage for a clash on The Road to WrestleMania 40.
In a candid interview with The Ringer, McIntyre expressed his frustration with Punk’s lack of recognition towards him.
He criticized Punk’s return to WWE from AEW and challenged him to a match, confident that he would emerge victorious.
“CM Punk came back to WWE, good for him. But if he steps into the ring with me, I’ll tear him apart, both verbally and physically. I doubt he’ll even be fit to face Drew McIntyre. He’s fragile, like real glass, and I’ll shatter him,”
McIntyre asserted.
Roman Reigns, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, also took a jab at CM Punk before a recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

During a conversation on The Pat McAfee Show, Reigns expressed gratitude for his position at the top, contrasting Punk’s tendency to complain.
“I’m not like CM Punk. When I reached the top, I didn’t complain. I embraced it,”
Reigns stated.
As anticipation builds for WrestleMania 40, CM Punk has hinted at a significant announcement during an upcoming WWE RAW event in his hometown of Chicago. Fans eagerly await what the veteran superstar has in store for the grand event.
