In a strategic move, TNA Wrestling has announced the release of two new ‘Best Of’ DVDs, featuring WWE superstars LA Knight (formerly Eli Drake) and Drew McIntyre (formerly Drew Galloway). The move is seen as an effort to capitalize on the popularity of these top stars, who have had a significant presence in both the WWE and TNA Wrestling.
Both Knight and McIntyre have had an illustrious career in TNA, with Knight working for the promotion from February 2015 to June 2019, and McIntyre from January 2015 to February 2017. During their tenure, they formed a faction called The Rising, along with Micah (aka Tonga Loa), and were involved in some memorable matches and storylines.
The ‘Best Of Eli Drake’ DVD features a collection of Knight’s most notable matches in TNA, including his Gauntlet World Championship win, as well as tag team matches with The Rising, and individual matches against notable opponents like Drew Galloway, Bram, Eddie Edwards, and EC3.
On the other hand, ‘The Best Of Drew Galloway’ DVD showcases McIntyre’s impressive run in TNA, featuring matches against the likes of Kenny King, Low Ki, EC3, Matt Hardy, and Jeff Hardy, as well as his Feast or Fired cash-in on Matt Hardy for the World Championship. The DVD also includes the 2015 King of the Mountain match and the Lethal Lockdown match between Team TNA and Team GFW.
Interestingly, Knight and McIntyre have shared the ring on multiple occasions, both in TNA and WWE. In TNA, they had a series of singles matches, with Knight emerging victorious in their first encounter, followed by McIntyre winning the subsequent matches. In the WWE, they have had two singles matches, with McIntyre winning the first one at a non-televised live event, and the second match ending in a No Contest on SmackDown.
The release of these DVDs is a testament to the enduring popularity of Knight and McIntyre, and TNA Wrestling’s efforts to capitalize on their past successes. With both superstars continuing to make waves in the WWE, fans of all promotions can now relive their memorable moments in TNA. The DVDs are available on TNAmerch.com, priced at $19.99 each, making them a must-have for fans of both Knight and McIntyre.
