Tiffany Stratton, a former champion, recently shared her experience of receiving cheers from the WWE Universe despite playing a villainous role. The 24-year-old wrestler has been making significant strides since her main roster debut earlier this year.
Known as the Buff Barbie, she has impressed fans with her in-ring skills and compelling character work. Even though she portrays a heel persona, Stratton garnered immense support from the crowd at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event.
In the Women’s chamber match, Stratton delivered a noteworthy performance. Despite being the first to enter the ring after Naomi and eventual winner Becky Lynch, she showcased her prowess by eliminating Naomi before eventually being eliminated herself by Liv Morgan.
Recalling her experience at the premium live event during a recent interview with TV Insider, Stratton expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming support she received:
“Elimination Chamber was so amazing for me. It was the first time I was really in the moment in a match and just to have the entire stadium behind me will be something I will never forget,” she said.
Following her successful stint in WWE’s developmental brand, Stratton transitioned to SmackDown earlier this year. Unlike many NXT call-ups, she seamlessly adapted to the main roster.
However, she highlighted the challenges of constant travel as the most difficult adjustment:
“I would definitely say travel would be the number one, craziest, hardest thing to adapt to. You’re traveling every week, twice or more a week. In NXT, I would travel maybe every couple of months. I would say travel is the hardest part of everything,” she explained.
In last week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Stratton made a significant impact by interrupting the title match between Bayley and Naomi, leading to a no-contest finish. Fans are eager to see when she will get her first title opportunity on the main roster.
