The Undertaker recently provided insights into the backstage atmosphere of WWE under the leadership of Triple H. As the head of WWE’s creative department, Triple H has garnered praise from fans for enhancing the product and delivering engaging content consistently.
WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker shared his thoughts on Triple H’s role as the showrunner during a recent episode of his Six Feet Under podcast.
The iconic Phenom acknowledged that he had witnessed Triple H expressing frustration, but he commended the executive for maintaining a calm demeanor while handling matters backstage.
The Undertaker emphasized the contrast between the current atmosphere and the chaotic environment he experienced during his full-time wrestling career:
“He’s (Triple H) doing it calmly. So I’m not… I’m not around, obviously, like I used to be. When I was working full-time, or even when I wasn’t working full-time. It was just so chaotic. There is like this calm backstage. The crew itself, the talent, they’re relatively young. Top to bottom, they’re young people. They’re all so chill. I’ve seen Triple H get worked up, but I haven’t seen him yell at talent. I haven’t seen him bad mouth anybody. There’s been times where you come back through the curtain and you know that a**-chewing is coming. I haven’t seen that with him.”
The Undertaker’s observation sheds light on the positive impact of Triple H’s leadership style, creating a more composed and congenial backstage environment.
While acknowledging Triple H’s occasional displays of frustration, The Deadman highlighted the absence of public admonishment or negativity towards talent.
The history between Triple H and The Undertaker adds significance to this perspective, as the two legendary figures engaged in multiple feuds and iconic matches, including their epic encounters at WrestleMania.
The Undertaker’s assessment provides a glimpse into the evolving dynamics of WWE under Triple H’s leadership, leaving fans intrigued about the future direction of the Stamford-based promotion.
