Since his last RAW appearance, WWE legend The Rock has hinted at an intriguing promise to wrestling enthusiasts. On the episode of WWE RAW after WrestleMania XL, The Great One shared that he would be stepping away for a while.
Following Roman Reigns’ dethronement by Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL’s Night 2, The Rock confronted the new Undisputed WWE Champion on the subsequent RAW.
He issued a warning to Rhodes while presenting him with a mysterious gift.
Taking to Instagram, The Final Boss delivered a message to wrestling fans, assuring them that we’ve only seen Chapter 1 of Final Boss Cinema. He described himself as a “long gamer,” indicating a prolonged engagement in his post.
“The Final Boss is a builder. A long gamer. Though WRESTLEMANIA Night 2 may be in the record books, this is only Chapter 1 of Final Boss Cinema. To be continued… – Final Boss,” he wrote.
Vince Russo’s WWE RAW Ratings Prediction
Former WWE writer Vince Russo anticipated a drop in WWE RAW ratings for last week’s show in the absence of The Rock.
As per WrestleNomics, the April 15 edition of RAW averaged 1,807,000 viewers.
Russo, on Wrestling’s Legion of RAW show, predicted the dip, citing the lackluster delivery in the previous episode following the massive WrestleMania wave.
“If they don’t deliver a good show with that huge audience, we’re gonna be right back where we are and I can almost guarantee you we’re gonna be back below 2 million people next Monday,” Russo expressed.
The ongoing feud between The Rock and Cody Rhodes suggests that there’s more to come. Fans eagerly await what lies ahead for The Final Boss upon his return.
