Solo Sikoa, a SmackDown star, has finally broken his silence after winning his first WWE match in almost six months.
The Enforcer, as he is popularly known, ended his 39-match losing streak at a WWE Live event in Bologna, Italy, where he teamed up with Tama Tonga to defeat Randy Orton and LA Knight in a tag team match.
Sikoa’s victory marked a significant milestone in his career, as it was his first win in an astonishing 179 days.
The wrestler took to Instagram to react to the win, sending a three-word message to his tag team partner, Tonga:
“Last night Bologna🩸.”
The brief but telling post spoke volumes about Sikoa’s emotions and relief after ending his prolonged losing streak.
It’s worth noting that Sikoa’s last major victory was against WWE legend John Cena at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia back in November 2023. Many fans believed that the win would propel him to new heights, but instead, the company booked him in a lengthy losing streak that lasted for almost six months.
In recent weeks, John Cena had spoken about Sikoa, drawing parallels between him and the late Umaga. Cena praised Sikoa’s hustle and loyalty, saying that he reminded him of the hard-fought battles he had with Umaga. While Cena acknowledged that Sikoa was still new to the game and needed time to figure out the terrain, he expressed confidence in the young wrestler’s abilities.
Now that Sikoa has finally picked up a big win, all eyes are on him to see if he can carry the momentum forward. His next challenge comes in the form of a tag team match against Randy Orton and Kevin Owens at Backlash France. Will Sikoa and Tonga be able to replicate their success and emerge victorious once again? Only time will tell.
One thing is certain, however – Sikoa’s victory in Italy has given him a much-needed boost of confidence and momentum. As he looks to build on this win, fans will be eagerly watching to see if he can finally live up to his potential and become a top star in the WWE.
