WWE legend Ric Flair sheds light on his daughter Charlotte Flair’s journey back to the ring post-injury. The Queen has been sidelined since December 2023 due to a severe knee injury sustained during her match against Asuka, a member of Damage CTRL.
Undergoing a successful surgery earlier this year, Charlotte faces a lengthy recovery period, with estimates suggesting at least nine months.
However, the 14-time Women’s World Champion has been displaying remarkable resilience, sharing positive updates on her rehab journey via social media.
In a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Ric Flair lauded his daughter’s tenacity and wrestling prowess, emphasizing her dedication to diet and workouts:
“I think she’s arguably one of the two or three best wrestlers, period, in the company. And she looks better physically now than she did when she started. I mean, she’s so committed to meal plans and her workouts,” he remarked.
Flair expressed satisfaction with Charlotte’s progress, noting reports suggesting her recovery is progressing even faster than anticipated.
However, he emphasized the importance of adhering to medical advice, urging Charlotte to remain cautious, despite feeling ahead of schedule:
“She’s so far ahead now in this rehab, but she just has to, you know, keep it in mind that she’s gotta follow Dr.’s dues and orders, and it’s got to be a nine-month recovery, no matter how good she feels.”
Highlighting the significance of complete recovery for Charlotte’s return, Flair underscored the necessity for her to attain peak physical condition, especially given her high-risk maneuvers in the ring:
“To be the athlete that she wants to be and do all these Corkscrew Moonsaults and stuff like that, she’s got to be at a hundred percent.”
As anticipation mounts for Charlotte’s comeback, the WWE Universe eagerly awaits updates on her health and future plans.
Whether she’ll target title opportunities or resume her feud with Damage CTRL remains uncertain, but one thing is clear: Charlotte Flair’s return promises to be impactful and eagerly anticipated.
