Vince Russo, a key figure in WWE’s creative team, recently criticized the company’s handling of The Bloodline’s storyline on SmackDown.
During an episode of Writing with Russo, Russo voiced his disappointment with WWE’s inconsistent approach to portraying The Bloodline’s narrative.
He highlighted the confusion caused by the shifting between scripted storytelling and real-life elements, emphasizing the importance of maintaining clarity for the audience.
Russo elaborated, saying,
“Here is my biggest problem. As a writer, they are going in and out of reality. You know, friday was a story. Friday was a strict storyline. Now we get to thursday and now it’s real life. So now the story makes absolutely no sense because now it’s gonna be real life. So what’s it gonna be on friday now? It’s just… Guys just sit down and figure out what we are gonna do, because the worst thing you can do is confuse the fans.”
With The Bloodline’s storyline unfolding amidst The Rock’s involvement, there’s anticipation surrounding how WWE will navigate these developments.
