WWE Superstar Randy Orton has made history with his latest victory, securing his spot in the 2024 Elimination Chamber and earning the distinction of the most appearances inside the steel structure.
In a one-on-one bout against Sami Zayn on the recent episode of SmackDown, The Viper emerged victorious, marking his ninth appearance in the Elimination Chamber. This achievement surpasses the record held by current AEW star Chris Jericho, who has eight appearances in the prestigious match.
With this win, Orton now stands at the top of the list for the most appearances in the Elimination Chamber, a testament to his enduring presence and success in WWE.
The 14-time World Champion is set to compete in the traditional six-man steel chamber match in Perth, Australia, with the opportunity to challenge Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40.
Following the victory, WWE cameras captured Randy Orton in the Gorilla Position, where he delivered a bold message ahead of the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event (PLE) in Australia.
“Looks like I am going to Australia, Perth to be exact. Elimination Chamber. #Chamber9,”
Orton expressed, signaling his anticipation for the upcoming challenge.
Former WWE Superstar Matt Riddle, who was previously partnered with Orton as Team RK-Bro, paid tribute to The Apex Predator. Although Riddle is no longer with WWE, he recently showcased his wrestling skills at a Combat 1 event in Michigan, paying homage to Orton by executing an RKO on Tommy Vendetta.
The WWE Universe is eagerly anticipating Orton’s ninth appearance in the Elimination Chamber, as he seeks to potentially capture the World Championship for the fifteenth time at WrestleMania 40, adding another milestone to his illustrious career.
