The upcoming update for Palworld is set to introduce more than just a Raid Boss. Players will soon discover a new addition to the user interface that will significantly simplify the process of assigning their collected Pals to various tasks.
In Pocket Pair’s open-world survival game, players tame wild creatures known as Pals and put them to work around their base to automate tasks. ‘
While this loop is satisfying, the community has been asking for a way to streamline the process of assigning Pals to workstations since the game’s launch.
Thankfully, according to a post by chuanhsing on Reddit, the developer has listened to feedback and will soon add a dedicated menu. This menu will allow users to quickly select the role they want their Pals to fill.
The screenshot of the menu displays a list of available Pals on the left, accompanied by symbols that players can use to indicate the duties they want their trained Pals to perform.
Chuanhsing confirmed the legitimacy of the screenshot, which originated in Palworld’s official Discord server.
Palworld’s popularity skyrocketed upon its early access release in early 2024, attracting players through word-of-mouth marketing.
The game became one of the most-played titles on Steam for weeks and saw a further boost in player base after its addition to Xbox Game Pass. In response to its success, Pocket Pair released a roadmap outlining plans for the game’s future.
Players were excited to learn about the developer’s plans to expand Palworld with new Pals, structures, and locations to enhance the vast Palpagos map.
The first major update will introduce the game’s first Raid Boss, Bellanoir, a powerful new Pal. Details on the fight against Bellanoir are still unknown, but it’s expected to require a team of strong Pals to defeat.
Regarding potential releases on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, Pocket Pair has acknowledged inquiries about porting Palworld to these platforms but has not confirmed any solid plans.
Fans eagerly await any official announcements regarding the game’s availability on additional platforms. Until then, PlayStation and Nintendo enthusiasts will have to wait patiently for further updates.
