Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra recently celebrated their daughter Malti Marie’s second birthday with an enchanting Elmo-themed party. The event, detailed in Nick’s Instagram post on January 16, showcased heartwarming moments from their little angel’s special day.
The celebration embraced the Elmo theme in every aspect, from decorations to attire. Malti, the birthday girl, was adorably dressed in a pink sweater adorned with hearts, complemented by red pants, heart-shaped sunglasses, and a tiara. Her outfit perfectly matched the party’s theme.
Nick and Priyanka also joined in the thematic fun, with Priyanka donning an orange hoodie and Nick opting for red, as seen in a photo shared by Nick where Priyanka lovingly hugs him from behind.
The Jonas family and close friends, including Nick’s brothers Joe and Franklin, as well as Franklin’s girlfriend Anna Olson, attended the joyous occasion. In one highlight, Joe and Franklin, along with Olson, were captured posing with an Elmo cutout.
The party’s attention to detail extended to the birthday cake, which featured an Elmo design and a sign reading “Malti Marie’s 2.” Guests were treated to “Malti Marie’s Sweet Treats,” adding to the festive atmosphere.
Born via surrogacy on January 15, 2022, Malti Marie spent her initial 100 days in NICU and ICU before being welcomed home on Mother’s Day. Reflecting on motherhood’s joys and challenges, Priyanka shared with PEOPLE in an exclusive interview, “It’s the greatest thing I have ever done, but it’s extremely scary.” She emphasized the overwhelming nature of parenthood but found reassurance in her daughter’s smile and the support of her family.
