Nick Aldis recently discussed the promising future of young WWE superstar Bron Breakker, suggesting that Breakker could potentially face off against Roman Reigns in the future.
At just 26 years old, Breakker has rapidly ascended through the ranks, making significant strides in NXT before being moved up to the main roster. After a recent shift from SmackDown to RAW, Breaker is ready to demonstrate his remarkable speed and formidable strength on a new stage.
Bron Breakker: WWE’s Rising Star with Championship Potential
In a conversation with Bill Apter for Sportskeeda Wrestling, Aldis was asked about who he sees as Breakker’s potential adversaries in the ring. He quickly named Roman Reigns, though he acknowledged that Breakker is not yet ready for such a monumental challenge.
“Down the road? Roman. Down the road. But we are not there yet, and that’s absolutely fine. But listen, he has got to, just because I believe in him, you know. Obviously the company believes in him, the people believe in him, he still has to make his way through this roster.
And again like I said we were talking about like, world-class, maybe the best roster ever assembled. I might be a little partisan to WWE in 2002, cause when you look at that I mean that’s like an all-star… I don’t know if we will ever repeat that level of depth of talent and star power, but we are getting close,” Aldis explained.
Another veteran voice in WWE, Dutch Mantell, offered a comparison between Breakker and another wrestling icon, Goldberg. Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s SmackTalk, Mantell noted that Breakker shares similar physical expressions and intensity with Goldberg, which has marked his presence in the ring.
“Well, he is just a remake of Goldberg. That’s all it is. He even does the facial expressions that Goldberg does. He is snorting and spitting all the way out there. I think they could have given him just a little bit [something], and I understand to make him a killer, I understand that,” Mantell commented.
While comparisons to legendary figures like Goldberg underscore the high expectations surrounding Breakker, it is clear that his journey in WWE is just beginning.
