As WrestleMania 40 draws near, Logan Paul has been making waves on WWE SmackDown.
From capturing the United States Championship last year to his recent appearance in the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event, The Maverick’s career is on the rise. He even defended his title against Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble PLE.
However, Logan Paul might face his toughest test yet. On the next episode of WWE SmackDown, he could be challenged by none other than Randy Orton, the star he infamously sucker-punched.
With Rey Mysterio’s return to the blue brand, alongside Kevin Owens, there’s a chance they’ll push The Apex Predator to settle the score with Logan.
Adding fuel to the fire is the fact that Logan Paul cost Randy Orton his shot at winning the Elimination Chamber match. Since that incident, The Maverick hasn’t stopped boasting about it.
But in the upcoming episode, Logan might want to watch his words carefully. He can’t afford to provoke The Viper, knowing Orton’s signature RKO could strike at any moment.
Though speculative, the prospect of a showdown between Orton and Logan at WrestleMania 40 is tantalizing.
Logan Paul’s rise in WWE has been met with praise, even from former WWE Superstars. Despite his relatively short time in wrestling, his achievements speak volumes.
Winning the United States Championship and facing off against heavyweight names like Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins are no small feats.
Former WWE Superstar Matt Riddle recently commended Logan Paul and his brother Jake Paul.
During an appearance on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Riddle expressed admiration for both Paul brothers. He also mentioned his interest in seeing Dillon Danis in the world of professional wrestling.
“I’m impressed with both the Paul brothers. Jake’s knocking people out in boxing. Logan did beat Dillon Danis. I like Dillon; I like all of them. I like Logan in pro wrestling… I wouldn’t mind seeing Dillon Danis on a pro wrestling show, running his mouth and talking trash, because people just want to see him get punched in the face, right? Or some people want to see him break somebody’s arm, you know,”
Riddle commented.
For those unfamiliar, Logan faced Dillon Danis in a boxing match last year. Despite doubts about Danis being a tough opponent, Logan showcased his skills and dominated the ring.
