WWE Superstars Liv Morgan and Bianca Belair are gearing up for an intense showdown in the upcoming 2024 Women’s Elimination Chamber match, but their focus momentarily shifted to a fellow wrestler’s unfortunate injury.
Shotzi, who challenged Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women’s Championship on February 13, suffered a knee injury during the match.
Following the injury, Shotzi had to be assisted backstage, and her participation in the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match was put in jeopardy.
Alba Fyre stepped in as her replacement in the qualifying match on SmackDown. Expressing her disappointment, Shotzi took to Twitter to share her feelings, stating she was “devastated” about missing the opportunity:
“I don’t have much to say right now other than I am devastated. It’s heartbreaking to be missing my Elimination Chamber opportunity tonight. But I just wanted to wish all the women competing good luck. I’ll open up more about how I’m feeling and my injury later. @WWE.”

In solidarity with their fellow wrestler, Liv Morgan and Bianca Belair responded to Shotzi’s tweet with folded hands emojis, offering their prayers for her speedy recovery.
As the anticipation builds for the Women’s Elimination Chamber match, Liv Morgan took a moment to reflect on her past on-screen presentation during an episode of WWE’s The Bump.
She discussed the significance of the teardrops on her face, explaining that their meaning was open to interpretation. However, Morgan revealed that she decided to remove the teardrop makeup, symbolizing that she no longer had any reason to cry:
“I used to come out with teardrops on my face. Always. Up to interpretation, am I crying tears of sadness? Am I crying tears of happiness? Who knows? But now, I have wiped my tears because I have no reason to cry, and now you can cry about it.”
As Morgan and Belair prepare to compete in the Elimination Chamber match, fans eagerly anticipate the outcome and whether Morgan will secure a shot at the Women’s World Championship.
