#1. Veteran Critiques CM Punk-Drew McIntyre Segment on WWE RAW
Vince Russo recently weighed in on the segment featuring Drew McIntyre and CM Punk on RAW.
Russo pointed out McIntyre’s missed opportunity to confront Punk in the ring, despite the latter’s clever evasion tactics:
“I give them credit for the continuity… But again, now Punk is in the ring and McIntyre is not going back after him.”
Both wrestlers are currently sidelined with injuries, but fans can anticipate a showdown once they’re back in action.
#2. The Undertaker Teases Another Lesnar-Rhodes Match
While Brock Lesnar has been absent from WWE screens since his defeat to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023, The Undertaker hinted at the possibility of a comeback.
Despite no immediate plans for Lesnar’s return, The Undertaker suggests there may still be unfinished business between Lesnar and Rhodes:
“…Brock [Lesnar] is not completely out of the picture… So it’ll be interesting to see his journey.”
#3. WWE Draft Continues on RAW
The second night of the WWE Draft 2024 unfolded on RAW, with a flurry of superstars switching brands.
Notable moves included the Latino World Order heading to RAW and Jade Cargill remaining on the blue brand. Additionally, NXT standouts Ilja Dragunov, Lyra Valkyria, and Blair Davenport made their main roster debuts.
#4. 31-Year-Old Star Set to Depart
Another departure looms on the horizon for WWE, as reports indicate Scrypts, formerly known as Reggie, will become a free agent upon the expiration of his contract in June.
The wrestler confirmed the news via a social media post, signaling the end of his four-year tenure with the company.
During his time with WWE, Scrypts captured the 24/7 Championship four times. Despite his impending exit, he hints at a continued presence in the wrestling world.
