In Bali, Indonesia, a Korean TV production crew ran into trouble when they filmed a show without proper permits. Thirty-two people, including actors and crew members, faced a brief hold-up by the Immigration Office in Denpasar.
They were shooting an episode for “My Way Package Season 2: Pick Me in Bali.” Some famous Korean stars like Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon and Apink’s Bomi were part of the crew, along with Indonesian celebrity Dita Karang from Secret Number.

Despite arriving in Bali on tourist visas, they didn’t have the necessary permits for filming. Immigration officers found out about this on April 25th and took action, including imposing fines.
As a result, the cast and crew had to stay in a hotel while their passports were confiscated. Some couldn’t leave on their planned departure dates. Now, all of them have left Indonesia, and the production crew is expected to depart soon as well.
Sandiaga Uno, Indonesia’s Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, stressed that while filming in Bali is welcome, it must be done in compliance with the rules. He ensured that the cast and crew were released swiftly. Uno also reminded everyone about the importance of obtaining the right permits before filming, emphasizing that the process is straightforward and quick.
