Trouble brews within The Judgment Day faction as injuries plague its members on WWE RAW. While Rhea Ripley’s injury has garnered attention, the condition of Dominik Mysterio remains a point of concern.
The former NXT North American Champion was spotted with his arm in a sling during WWE RAW, signaling a legitimate injury.
Reports confirm that Mysterio sustained the injury during his match with Andrade on the April 15 episode of the show, described as a “freak accident” by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Mysterio is set to undergo Tommy John surgery, typically associated with baseball pitchers, with a recovery time of at least nine months. However, given the nature of his role, WWE plans to retain him as a television character throughout his recuperation period.
According to Meltzer, “[Dominik Mysterio] will be undergoing Tommy John surgery on his elbow which for a baseball pitcher means at least nine months out. Since he doesn’t have to throw pitches hard, his recovery time would probably be a little shorter. As of right now, the plan would be to keep him as a television character while recovering.”
Intrigue Surrounds The Judgment Day on WWE RAW
The ongoing tensions within The Judgment Day could intensify with Ripley’s temporary absence and Damian Priest’s emergence as the group’s de facto leader. The World Heavyweight Champion’s treatment of Mysterio, JD McDonagh, and Finn Balor hints at a potential breakup within the faction.
Furthermore, the dynamics between Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan add another layer of complexity to the storyline. A burgeoning romance between the two could spark conflict and potentially lead to a rift between Mysterio and Ripley, further fueling the feud between the factions.
As The Judgment Day navigates through turbulent waters, fans await developments in this gripping saga on WWE RAW, hoping for a swift recovery for Dominik Mysterio and the resurgence of the faction in the face of adversity.
