The latest report offers a significant update on John Cena’s potential involvement in WWE WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia.
At Crown Jewel 2023, Cena aimed to secure his first televised singles victory since 2018, only to be thwarted by Solo Sikoa.
Since then, the 46-year-old icon has been absent from the ring, following his defeat to The Bloodline member in Saudi Arabia.
With WrestleMania 40 looming just a month away, the WWE Universe eagerly anticipates Cena’s return in some capacity.
Alongside teasing the second season of Peacemaker, previous reports have hinted at the 16-time World Champion’s efforts to make a comeback at The Grandest Stage of Them All.
There has been some talk about John Cena appearing at #WrestleMania.
If his acting schedule allows him, the idea is to do something that isn't "deemed a risk" & "something fun, short and memorable and with substance."

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Cena is set to commence filming for the second season of Peacemaker.
However, if his filming schedule permits, the plan is to incorporate him into WrestleMania 40 in a manner that is both “not deemed a risk” and offers “something fun, short, memorable, and with substance.”
Pro wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell recently speculated on Cena’s WWE trajectory, suggesting that Cena’s purported dislike for former WWE Superstar Alex Riley may have hindered Riley’s push within the company.
During his Story Time with Dutch Mantell podcast, Mantell mentioned Cena’s alleged unfavorable opinion of Riley, implying that it may have influenced Riley’s trajectory in WWE. Mantell remarked,
“It doesn’t take a lot to lose your push, not with Vince (McMahon), not with him in charge. It could be anything, so Cena probably didn’t like Alex Riley, so he probably just went and poured his heart out to Vince. ‘Well, we can fix that.’ They just didn’t tell Riley nothing and just stopped pushing him.”
As WrestleMania 40 draws near, the question lingers: Will the 46-year-old WWE legend manage to carve out time from his Hollywood commitments to grace The Biggest Show of The Year?
The anticipation among fans remains palpable as they ponder the possibility of Cena’s return at WWE WrestleMania 40.
